Member's Modules

These are all individual 4', 6', or 8' long modules that make-up our mobile Large Layout. The bare module is built and the track laid by our Module Crew to very specific, standardized dimensions. That ensures that the module itself and the track on each one will line-up perfectly with the adjacent modules. A club member then buys the bare module and decorates it himself at his expense. All the modules can be arranged in any configuration to accommodate the next display venue's needs.

Some scenes are built on a separate rigid foam board base that sets on top of the bare module. The entire scene is easily removed for transport, or to be swapped-out for a completely different scene. Some scenes are built directly on the bare module. Some of those are semi-permanent. Some are completely removed and rebuilt every time we transport.
